American Dynamics 2.1 MP HD-CVI Dome Cameras provide a true alternative to IP cameras. The cameras provide up to 1080p video resolution (1920 x 1080) in an uncompressed format over the same coaxial cable that is used for standard CCTV cameras.
This uncompressed video format can transmit over long distances without latency and bandwidth issues. Additionally, HD-CVI uses a single coaxial cable to transmit video, audio and control (OSD or PTZ) instead of requiring separate cables for each transmission. The camera has a 2.7-12mm motorized lens and Smart Infrared for recording over 196 feet away in total darkness. The IR mini-dome is vandal-resistant and waterproof, and features WDR making it an ideal solution for applications with volatile weather or lighting conditions.
This product is subject to certain restrictions on procurement, use, funding or contracting by the United States federal government as set forth in Section 889 (Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment) of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019.
