Intellex PAL Image Scaler Update

The PAL Image Scaler Update replaces the firmware on the VACD3 board in the Intellex Ultra. The new firmware has an improved algorithm for PAL image display which eliminates the jagged edges of diagonal lines. This Update only applies to Intellex Ultra systems with software version 4.03 and earlier and VACD FW versions C:2.31 and earlier.

Download Instructions:

1. On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below to your local hard drive.
2. Copy the file to a CD for installation onto the Intellex.

Installation Instructions:

1. Exit the Intellex application by clicking on Utility, Exit. Then type in the Exit PIN code.
2. Insert the CD or USB storage device with the PAL Image Scaler Update.
3. Double click on the My Computer icon
4. Double click on the media device with the PAL Scaler Update.
5. Double click on the file Intellex 4.0 PAL Image Scaler Update.msi
6. Follow the instructions as the installation program installs the update.
7. When the installation is complete, the installation program will automatically shut down the Intellex Ultra.
8. Restart the Intellex Ultra.
