Network Client v3.2 Service Pack 1

This software update is for Network Client systems running software versions 3.1 and 3.2. It includes both enhancements and fixes to known issues on prior versions of the Network Client and Intellex software.

What’s New:

Several important enhancements have been added to the Network Client and the way it interacts with the Intellex, including:

the ability to have greater than five Network Client connections to a single Intellex
the ability to run multiple live sessions of Network Client from a single system
the ability to save a configured profile for Network Client on a network

The Export function has been expanded to include the ability to export a clip database from Network Client.

Product Improvements:

The usability of the time sync function has been improved.
A problem with the Live View icons following an export to AVI has been addressed, eliminating possible confusion for the user.
Issues with the AVI export in the "High" quality images has been addressed.

NOTE: In order to take advantage of the new enhancements to Network Client, the Intellex v.3.2/2.6 Service Pack 1 must be installed as well. That update can be found at www.americandynamics.net/downloads_intellex.

The upgrade download also contains the updated user documentation for v3.2; on installation, this Adobe PDF file will replace the existing user manual.

Installation Requirements:

To install Network Client v3.2 SP1, you must already have Network Client v3.1 or v3.2 installed on your computer.
You must have a valid Product ID to complete installation of this upgrade. If you do not already have a PID for Network Client v3.1 or greater, click here.

Compatibility Note: Network Client v3.2 SP1 cannot be installed on a computer alongside other applications that use the Intellex Application Programming Interface (API) v3.0 or v2.x.

If you are using an application that accesses video from an Intellex, you will need to upgrade that application to a version that uses Intellex API v3.2 or 3.2 SP1 before installing Network Client v3.2 SP1. Contact the company that developed the software to determine if they have a version available that is compatible with Intellex API v3.2.

Network Client v3.2 SP1 is backward compatible with all Intellex v3.x and v2.x units, however, not all capabilities of Network Client v3.2 SP1 are available to all versions of Intellex.

I have read the above Compatibility Note and understand that installing Network Client v3.2 SP1 alongside applications that use the Intellex API v3.0 or v2.x will render those applications and Network Client unusable.
