Intellex v3.2/v2.6 Service Pack 1

This software update is for Intellex systems running software versions 2.6, 3.1, and 3.2. It includes both enhancements and fixes to known issues on prior versions of the Intellex software.

What's New:

  • Several important enhancements have been added to the Network Client and the way it interacts with the Intellex, including:
    • the ability to have greater than five Network Client connections to a single Intellex
    • the ability to run multiple live sessions of Network Client from a single system
    • the ability to save a configured profile for Network Client on a network
  • The Export function has been expanded to include the ability to export a clip database from Network Client.

Product Improvements / Fixes:

  • When exiting a live view mode, a pattern that has been set will now continue to function.
  • Patterns can now be defined for RS-422 dome camera handlers.
  • The stop pan function command has been added for domes with USB and VM96 handlers.

CAUTION: Do not install this update on Intellex IP.

This update is not compatible with Intellex IP, including the following model numbers: ADDIP250, ADDIP250A, ADDIP500, ADDIP500A.

For Intellex IP use: Intellex IP v3.2 Service Pack 1

CAUTION: If you are using Intellex Policy Manager v1.x and would like to continue using Policy Manager, you must upgrade Intellex Policy Manager to v1.1 Service Pack 1 when upgrade your Intellex units to v3.2/v2.6 SP1.

NOTE: In order to take advantage of the new enhancements to Intellex you must use Network Client v3.2 Service Pack 1.

NOTE: If you encounter a dialog box during installation indicating "Service Pack 4 or greater is required," please download and install Windows® Service Pack 4 for Intellex.

Download Instructions:

  1. On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below to your local hard drive.
  2. Copy the file to a CD for installation onto the Intellex.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Exit Intellex by clicking on Utility, Exit. Enter the exit PIN code.
  2. Insert the CD with the update into the CD drive.
  3. Double click on the My Computer icon.
  4. Double click on the compact disc icon
  5. Double click on Install_Intellex_3.2-2.6_SP1.exe
  6. Click on Next, Install, and Finish
  7. Close the compact disc window and eject the disk.
  8. Double click on the Intellex icon to start the system.
