Intellex®  v3.2.55c Upgrade

This software is used to upgrade an Intellex running v3.1 software to software v3.2. Please carefully read the following important information before attempting to upgrade your Intellex.

Upgrading from Intellex v3.0

This upgrade applies only to Intellex units running version 3.1 software. Do not attempt to install this update on any other version of Intellex or damage to your system may result.

To upgrade from Intellex v3.0 software, you must first upgrade to Intellex v3.1.35 using the free web upgrade or order RDVUPG32 from your American Dynamics Dealer or Representative.

To determine the current version of your software, click Utility, then click About Intellex. If the version of your software is 3.1, then you can install this upgrade.

Compatibility

Older versions of the following applications are not forward compatible with Intellex v3.2:

  • Network Client v3.1
  • Policy Manager v1.0
  • Intellex Player v3.1
  • Browser Client v1.1
  • C•CURE 800 8.1

Before upgrading an Intellex unit to v3.2, ensure that each of these applications, if used to access the Intellex unit, is upgraded to the most current version: Network Client v3.2, Policy Manager v1.1, Intellex Player v3.2, and versions of C•CURE 800 and Browser Client that use Intellex 3.2 API.

Licensing

This software is protected with a license key. The license key that enabled your current installation of Intellex software v3.0 or v3.1 will also enable this update. Do not uninstall the previous version of software or delete any files before performing this installation.

Download & Installation Instructions

  1. Click the link below to begin downloading the software and select save to copy the file to your hard drive.
  2. Once the download is complete, burn the file to a CD for installation onto the Intellex unit.
  3. Exit Intellex to the Windows desktop by clicking Utility>Exit. Enter the exit PIN number when prompted.
  4. Insert the CD containing the Intellex 3.2.55c Upgrade into the CD drive.
  5. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  6. Double-click the compact disc icon.
  7. Double-click the Intellex32Upgrade_r3255c.exe to start the installation. Click the appropriate button when prompted during the installation process.
  8. When the installation is complete the Intellex will reboot and automatically restart. Note: you may be given the option to reboot now or wait until later; if so, choose to reboot now.
  9. Successful installation can be verified by clicking on Utility>About Intellex to display the software version.
