Intellex® v2.5.9 Upgrade
This software upgrade installs software version 2.5.9. Future maintenance releases
will only be provided for software v2.5 and above.
Software v2.5.9 is based on the Windows 98 operating system and includes all
of the features that have been added to the Intellex software during the evolution
of the 2.x product family. These features can provide significant operational
benefits to Intellex users with earlier software releases. Some of these features
are:
- Export to CD-RW (when used with compatible CD-RW drive)
- Expanded compatibility with newer CD-RW drives
- Database improvements and management tools
- Improved data compression
- Expanded remote access when used with Network Client 3.0
- Remote dome control
- Audio and text recording (with compatible hardware)
- Archive scheduler
- Data lifetime management
- Maintenance updates to version 2.5.5
Important Note:
This update can only be installed on Intellex units with version 2.0 to
2.5 software. Do not attempt to install this update on any other version
of Intellex or damage to your system may result.
To find out what version of software you have, click Utility, then click
About Intellex. The version will be displayed on the screen. If the version
is 2.0.xx to 2.5.xx, then you can install this update.
To perform the update, you must have a CD drive on your Intellex unit.
This software is protected with a License Key. The License Key is automatically
generated during the installation process based on the software version and
OptionPacks already installed; do not uninstall the existing software before
installing this upgrade.
The following table summarizes the OptionPacks that are enabled when installed
on existing version 2.x software. MonitorPack functionality is included as standard
in software version 2.5.

Note: Intellex units upgraded from version 2.4 to version
2.5.9 will continue to be upgradeable to software version 3.0. Intellex
units that were previously upgraded to software version 2.5.3 or that
were originally manufactured as Intellex LT units cannot be upgraded to
software version 3.0.
Download Instructions:
- On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below
to your local hard drive.
- Copy the file to a CD for installation onto the
Intellex.
- Proceed with the installation as outlined in the Intellex
v2.5 Software Upgrade Instructions.
