Intellex®  3.1.35 Service Update

This software update is for Intellex systems running software version 3.1.35. It addresses the following issues that can occur in earlier versions of 3.x software:

  • Improved disk writing bandwidth: the disk writing efficiency has been improved which reduces the demand on system resources and reduces the chance of dropped frames when recording high motion video.
  • Reduced playback skips: the skipping over of alarms in playback is eliminated.
  • AZ time zone support: selection of Arizona time zone is now supported.

NOTE: This update should only be installed on Intellex units with software version 3.1.35. Attempting to install this update on any other version of Intellex software may result in damage to the system. To find out what version of software you have, click on Utility, the About Intellex. The version will be displayed on the screen. If the version is 3.1.35, you may install this update.

Download Instructions:

  1. On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below to your local hard drive.
  2. Copy the file to a CD for installation onto the Intellex.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Exit Intellex by clicking on Utility, Exit. Enter the exit PIN code.
  2. Insert the CD with the update into the CD drive.
  3. Double click on the My Computer icon.
  4. Double click on the compact disc icon
  5. Double click on Intellex31ServiceUpdate1.exe
  6. Click on Next, Install, and Finish
  7. Close the compact disc window and eject the disk.
  8. Double click on the Intellex icon to start the system.
