Intellex^®  v3.x Operating System Security Configuration Utility

DV8000, DV16000, and RMS systems using Intellex software version 3.0 or 3.1 depend on the operating system services configuration to provide continuing protection against attack from computer viruses. Operating system updates and other operations can cause these services to revert to a less secure configuration.

American Dynamics is providing this utility which sets these operating system configurations to the most secure and recommended states. Download and run this utility on any system using Intellex software version 3.0 or 3.1 to ensure that the operating system is providing the best protection against virus attack.

Download and Installation Instructions:

1. Click on the link below to download the utility to your computer.
2. Copy the utility to a blank, formatted floppy disk for installation onto the Intellex.
3. Take the floppy disk with the utility and insert it into the Intellex.
4. Exit the Intellex application by clicking on Utility, then Exit. Enter the eight digit PIN when prompted.
5. Double click on the My Computer icon.
6. Double click on the Floppy Drive icon.
7. Double click on the program file name to run the program.
8. Click on Next and Install.
9. When the program has finished, click on Finish.
10. Close the My Computer window and remove the floppy disk.
11. Double click on the Intellex icon to start the Intellex application.

The operating system is now properly configured to minimize the risk of attack by computer viruses.
