Video Server p1 Update

This software update for Video Server installs Video Server p1 Update. This maintenance release resolves the following issues identified in previous releases of Video Server software:

  • The security program allows access regardless of the user name and password entered. Therefore there is no way to restrict access to the Video Server GUI besides IP filtering.

Note! Before updating, please insure that the Video Server IP address has been properly configured. Failure to do so may result in loss of Video Server IP address; necessitating reconfiguration of the Video Server IP address.

For information regarding Video Server and IP addressing please refer to RVS4000 Remote Video Server Installation and Configuration Guide.
