Intellex®  v2.0 to v2.1 Upgrade

System Requirements:

This upgrade applies to Intellex v2.0 only, do not attempt to upgrade any other version of Intellex. Please download and read Intellex v2.0 to v2.1 Upgrade Instructions (PDF) in its entirety to familiarize yourself with the procedure.

Before performing the upgrade you must have an Intellex v2.1 license key. To obtain the license key, you will need to provide your Intellex's 12-character MAC Address. To determine your Intellex's MAC Address follow the procedure as outlined in the instructions.

To complete step 8 of the installation procedure, click here to contact Technical Services and request a v2.1 license key. Don't forget to include your system's MAC Address when contacting Technical Services. Your v2.1 license key will be sent to you via email.

You will need the Intellex License Editor to complete the first part of the installation procedure.

Download Intellex License Editor:

  1. Download the executable file below.
  2. Insert a blank 3.5" floppy diskette into your floppy disk drive.
  3. Run the executable file: license_editor.exe.
  4. Verify that the program will install to the proper drive. The default setting is the "A:" drive.
  5. Click "Install" to create the floppy diskette.
  6. After creating the floppy diskette, proceed with the installation as outlined in the Intellex v2.0 to v2.1 Upgrade Instructions (PDF)

Download Intellex v2.0 to v2.1 Upgrade:

Once you have obtained your Intellex v2.1 license key, you will need the following files to complete the remainder of the upgrade installation. This will require eight blank, formatted 3.5" floppy diskettes.

  1. Download the eight (8) executable files below.
  2. Insert a blank 3.5" floppy diskette into your floppy disk drive.
  3. Run the first executable file: 21B19disk1.exe.
  4. Verify that the program will install to the proper drive. The default setting is the "A:" drive.
  5. Click "Install" to create the floppy diskette.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for each of the remaining executable files. Label the disks to avoid confusion during the installation process.
  7. After creating the floppy diskettes, continue with the installation as outlined in the Intellex v2.0 to v2.1 Upgrade Instructions (PDF).
