Video Amplifiers (AD1421 & AD1422 Series)
The AD1421 Series Video Distribution Amplifier distributes
and amplifies the signal from one video input to four video
outputs. Independent and isolated amplifiers for each individual
output means that shorts, opens or noises on one output
will not affect the remaining three outputs. No manual adjustment
required.
The AD1422 Series Video Line Amplifier amplifies and equalizes
the signal from a single video input to a single remote
video output. An easy-to-use, continuously adjustable control
equalizes all amplifier characteristics, simultaneously
correcting for signal loss, high frequency attenuation,
differential delay and other signal distortions typically
associated with long video cables. The unit restores picture
quality on video cables up to 1,500 m (one mile) in length.
Two units can be cascaded together for distances up to 3,000
m (two miles).
On both units, a front panel LED indicates presence or
absence of video. When the video amplifier detects video
loss, it can automatically trigger an alarm.
