SpeedDome® Ultra Indoor Housing
The SpeedDome Ultra indoor dome housing allows the SpeedDome
Ultra dome to be installed indoors using the same design
as found in the SpeedDome Ultra outdoor housing. It is available
in standard and vandal resistant options.
The housing is made of a reinforced fiberglass high-impact
polycarbonate material along with a UV stabilized trim
ring and top cover. The bubble assembly is affixed to
the top via tamper-proof screws.
For applications where vandalism is a concern, a vandal
resistant model is available which includes an aluminum
sunshield cover and a high impact bubble which meets ANSI-87.1
impact safety standards. For additional protection a stainless
steel bubble cage is provided.
Simply add an interface board, plug in the video cable,
connect power and data, and install any SpeedDome Ultra.
Diagnostic power and communications LEDs confirm proper
connection and aid in troubleshooting. A variety of mounts
accommodate the housing, making it easy to install.
The housing supports both the RUPTB and RUIOB dome bases
(not included) and is supplied with your a choice of a
clear or smoked bubble.
