Two NIC cards. Intellex IP is equipped to function like a self-contained switch that bridges your video surveillance system from the shared corporate network. The first NIC card connects the Intellex IP to all of the cameras on the system, feeding it the incoming video while the second NIC card connects the Intellex IP to the corporate network and sends outgoing video to network users upon request.

Intellex feature set. Anyone familiar with Intellex DVMS knows the beauty of digital video management and its numerous capabilities. You get all of the features that the typical digital video recorder provides, plus:

  • IntelleCord®. Save space on your hard drive while ensuring that you capture video of significant events at the quality you need for later analysis. On alarm, Intellex will: begin recording, capture up to 5 minutes of pre-alarm video, shift to alarm-specified record settings for resolution and images per second, and tag the recorded clip for easy recall after the event.

  • Smart Search. Establish search parameters that produce pre-event footage from the most appropriate cameras on a system after an event has occurred. This feature adds speed, size, and direction of the object in question to the standard arsenal of time/date/camera/alarm search criteria.

  • ACC. Record longer and guarantee the court admissibility of your video evidence with our proprietary Active Content Compression. ACC stores more video per byte than other compression methods and provides consistent image quality superior to JPEG, MJPEG, MPEG1, and H.320.

  • Data mining. Record ASCII text from devices like cash registers and ATMs, and observe transactional data side by side with time-synchronized video of the event. By combining data mining with video security, you can schedule recording or search the database based on whatever text or transaction criteria you wish to specify.

  • Audio that lets you hear as well as see. Listen to live audio and record it for later playback along with the associated video. You can also export recorded audio to a CD or download it to Network Client as part of a video clip.

  • Portability. Export video, text, and audio to a CD along with Intellex Player, our proprietary software that enables you to play it all back on a standard PC.
